Rosemary Samyia holds Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts degrees from Macquarie University where she graduated in 1986 with majors in law, education, history and anthropology. She also holds a Bachelor of Teaching degree from Sydney University where she graduated in 2006.

Rosemary commenced work as an in-house lawyer for the Government Insurance Office in their Sydney, Hurstville and Parramatta premises in 1987. At the time GIO held a monopoly over CTP insurance claims throughout NSW. Rosemary represented GIO in numerous country and coastal towns throughout NSW and ran practices with an excess of 500 files and country court sittings with an excess of 35 cases per week. She instructed senior and junior counsel in numerous motor vehicle personal injury matters including major catastrophic claims.

In 1994 Rosemary joined private practice acting initially in a capacity for the major insurance clients, where she gained a thorough insight into the assessment and determination of claims. She eventually began working for individual clients in 1998 where her expertise in the negotiation, settlement and litigation of motor vehicle, commercial, public liability and workers compensation matters were an invaluable contribution to the successful determination of cases for numerous satisfied clients.

She also assisted in family and criminal court matters and appeared in the Local, District, Supreme, Court of Appeal and High Court jurisdictions.

Rosemary speaks Arabic and always has time for her two children, she loves to travel, play tennis and experience the outdoors. Rosemary finds obtaining a successful and fair result for her clients an extremely rewarding experience.
