John Chidiac

John Chidiac holds a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Technology, Sydney. He graduated in 1997 and commenced practicing in insurance litigation for various insurance companies such as AMP, GIO, NRMA and Mercantile Mutual.

John has vast experience in a whole range of complex insurance litigation including workers compensation, motor vehicle accidents and public liability claims. John went on to become a prominent figure in demurrage and insurance litigation, working exclusively for NRMA in claims against various other insurers such as AAMI, Lumley and GIO.

John founded Sanford Legal and immediately established and developed the firm’s base in insurance litigation. John now uses the knowledge gained in his previous experience acting for insurance companies to act for injured people to ensure they maximise their compensation payout to achieve the best possible outcome for their future.

Furthermore, John has a particular interest in growing area of superannuation claims including total and permanent disablement and income protection claims against industry superannuation funds such as Australian Super, AMP, Catholic Superannuation and Retirement Fund. John has also been successful in advising clients and finalising “Top-Up” claims against both Coverforce and CTAS.

John has conducted complex litigation before courts at all levels in Australia including the Local Court, District Court, Supreme Court and various tribunals.

John is happily married and a father of 4 beautiful children. John speaks fluent Arabic, enjoys reading, playing squash and spending time with his family.
